Wavebrain is a bit different from your typical design firm. We're not a full-service, custom web shop, but we're not just themers, either. We're both!

Custom website design traditionally has had barriers to entry for small businesses: the large price tag. When you know what goes into a custom site design, it's understandable. The extensive hours and process required to create a custom design drives up the price beyond the reach of many small companies.

Until now, there were only two alternatives. A small business owner can find a friend, relative or hobbyist who could assemble the pieces of a website and upload it all. Unfortunately, the results are often less-than-professional, leaving customers with a poor impression of the company or service and less likely to want to do business. The other option is for a business owner to learn a CMS like WordPress and mess with creating the website herself when she should be focusing on what she does best: running her business. Again, the result is often not the clean, solid image the owner should be projecting.
